When I went to view this house it was early spring but the temperature was in the mid 70s and I stood on the veranda looking out over some really beautiful countryside basking in the afternoon sunshine. This modern home is situated on the edge of a lovely Limousin village which is only a twenty minute drive from Limoges airport. Built in 1981, it is a ready to move into house that is remarkably spacious inside but may need decorating to your own taste. As with most villa type properties, the ground floor is mostly garage space and utility rooms with all the accommodation being on the first floor. The best bit for me was the lovely sunny veranda which gives you great views, especially on sunny afternoons!
Inside: The ground floor consists of a large double garage (40m²), cellar (24m²), utility room (24m²), workshop (16m²) and central heating room (6m²). This huge space is reached by a wide drive that sweeps up along the right hand side of the pretty garden. The first floor includes an entrance hall (12m²), L-shaped lounge/dining room (28m²) with wooden beams, feature fireplace and French doors out onto the veranda, three good sized bedrooms all with built in wardrobes of 15, 12 and 12m², bathroom with bath and seperate shower (8m²), wc and kitchen of 12m². The veranda is accessed from the lounge and is about 24m².
Outside: This home sits within its own manicured garden of 1620m² which includes a feature barbecue for those lazy summer afternoons spent outdoors.
This is a great home in a lovely location which is handy for the airport. It has double glazing throughout and a recently installed central heating boiler. To finish it all off, the owner informed me that you could even extend up into the loft if you needed extra space. This is a sunny house in a sunny location - your very own place in the sun.
