The house has been renovated and split into two apartments but with very little effort the house can be made one again. It stands in a quiet street in the heart of the Catalan village of Paziols.
The top floor apartment has a bright, spacious interior it has been renovated to create a tasteful blend of old and new, offering an open-plan, beamed living room/kitchen dinner, wet room and two double bed rooms. Steps lead up to the private roof terrace, where garden furniture and a built-in barbecue make it a splendid place to relax amid spectacular mountain scenery.
The first floor apartment is more traditional and also has an open-plan living room/kitchen dinner, shower room and two bedrooms one double the other has two single mezzanine beds but could easily sleep 4.
The ground floor is made up of a cave (garage), front door and entrance hall with stair leading to first floor. The cave has four folding doors with access for a car and more.

The top apartment was let as a holiday gite with French country cottages this provided a small income; it also meant the property was self supporting. The second apartment provides holiday accommodation for the owner. However the property can easily be converted into one again.
The area has easy access to Spain; it takes about an hour by car to the boarder. The Pyrenees where you can ski in winter or mountain walk in summer. The Pyrenees tourist train that you can ride through the mountains for a day out to Andorra. The beaches between Perpignan and Norborne, with their soft sand are all easily accessible by car. You can hunt for the Holy Grail at Rene le Chβteau, just one of the many Chateaus or you can visit the impressive Cathar castles and the ancient walled city of Carcassonne all make an excellent day out, to name but a few. Why not white water raft, canyon, rock climb or jump off Mont Tuch and see the area from a hang glider. There are two pools open to the public at near by Tuchan and the river runs through the village for swimming. The terrace means you can have lots of alfresco eating and lovely BBQs There are many places to eat out and lots to do visit and see, for every one young and old, but if peace and quiet is what you seek you can find that to and plenty of beautiful scenery.
Location: 5km S of Tuchan (pool, shops), 20km N of Estagel (all services), 40km W of Perpignan (airport, Water Park, beaches, all services), 88km SE of Carcassonne (ancient walled city), day trips to Spain

The next village just 3.5 k away has Doctor, Dentist, Physiotherapist, 3 restaurant's, Spar, backers, Tobac, Chemist, general shop, 2 butcher's, bar, bank, fire and police station
