This pretty house is situated just over the border from the Gers in the Pyrénées Atlantiques. It has been tastefully renovated by its current owner and is ready to move into. It was built in stone about 1900 and has some very French details on some of the fittings. The heating is by electric convectors and water is heated by an immersion heater.
The kitchen has a tiled floor, fitted units and a free standing cooker. The window looks out over the easily managed garden. The lounge also has a tiled floor and both a French window and a standard window also opening onto the garden. Just off the lounge is a small bathroom with a washbasin, half bath with a shower over and a toilet. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, both doubles with old wide plank wooden flooring. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, toilet and washbasin.
In addition to the 60+square metres of living accommodation, there is an out building extending to about 45 square metres, part of which is effectively a utility area and the rest is ready for you to make as you wish. The garden is mostly lawn with shrubs around the perimeter. The house is in a quiet and very attractive village but you are only about five minutes from Plaisance where you will find a supermarket, bars, cafes, restaurants, doctors, pharmacies and on Thursday a lively market.
