This little town house sits in the heart of the charming riverside town of L'Isle Jourdain and would make a perfect holiday home.
You enter the property into a kind of entrance hall with the shower room and separate wc in front of you and kind of "tucked under" the stairs. Off to the left is a basic galley kitchen with a door to the street behind. Leading from the kitchen is a living/dining room with French doors to the front of the house and rather nice old tiles on the floor. On the first floor you reach a large landing with a section that doubles back on itself and which could be partitioned off to make another bedroom or a study. There are two bedrooms on this floor, one of which has a fireplace and underneath the somewhat tired old carpet is what looks like some rather lovely wide oak floorboards. The one downside of the property is that as there are roads (not busy ones though!) to the front and rear of the house, the property has no garden. But it does have all services (water, electric, telephone, mains drainage) connected and with a bit of redecoration/modernisation it would make a charming holiday cottage in a very pretty town.
