The attractive hamlet of "Les Crétignières" is close to the heart of the natural park, close to the river Creuse, and to the old railway – which offers plenty of hiking possibilities!
It is located 25 minutes from the (toll free) A20 motorway, and 40 minutes away from the TGV station (Châtellerault). A bus can take you to Châteauroux, Tours, or Poitiers, leaving from Le Blanc. The house is about 6 hours drive away from the Channel, mostly motorway all the way, and about 60 minutes from Poitiers Airport, served by budget airlines.
Paris is about 1hour 1/2 by train, from Châtellerault.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
The Brenne natural park (10 mins) is an ornithological reserve. It offers a variety of activities from fauna observation to horseback ridding, visits to La Haute Touche preservation park or guided hikes
Le Blanc (12 mins). An attractive market town on the river Creuse, its mediaeval houses, movie theatre, airfield, swimming pool, annual fair, restaurants and diverse associations (dance, music, acting, canoeing…)
Poitiers (60 mins) ever heard of the Futuroscope?
Les châteaux de la Loire or La Rochelle are not very far either (90mins)

HOUSE DETAILS:
