The house is in a quiet village surrounded by ancient pathways and green fields roughly twenty minutes from Hesdin and one hour from Calais. The village has about one hundred and seventy inhabitants. Whilst we have used it as a family house the house could be split into two with the staircases and doorways in the right places for this. We have owned the house for some twenty years. Under the same roof is a magnificent timber framed barn. The house also has a large cellar.
