Waterside Property. Mill house and attached three story mill building, on an island on the river Ternoise, easily accessible by three private bridges. Set in the beautiful and historic region of Les Sept Vallees, named for its' seven river valleys, the area is little known but full of magnificent countryside and historical interest. The first record of a mill on our site was in 1046.

There are pretty gardens on both sides of the river and mill stream, including 200 metres of riverbank. A fisherman’s paradise with trout, sea trout, salmon and coarse fish. The mill building could be converted to living space or just left as a storage area.

The house has been well modernised and has 3/4 bedrooms, 2 receptions rooms, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. There is an attractive inglenook style fireplace in the living room and a beautiful view of the gardens and the river from the two sets of patio doors. The bathroom has a top of the range spa bath and a separate shower.

Outside there is a secluded and sheltered patio area, ideal for outside dinning.

The house is in a small village surrounded by green hills but without shops. The town of Hesdin, where you will find a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and hotels is only 3 to 4 minutes away by car.

The channel tunnel and the ferry port of Calais are around an hours drive.
