An old detached granite built farmhouse/barn needing renovation + a separate large  matching barn. The main building is approx 90 feet long with the potential to make into at least two dwellings or one large one. It has plenty of large exposed beams.. Part of this building has been occupied in the past but it seems to have been used as a storage barn for many years. The property is at the end of a quiet tarmaced country lane a couple of miles outside the village of Grazay. The 3 or 4 properties along this lane are well presented with a duck pond across from one of them. The building has several rooms on the ground floor and there is a loft (no proper staircase) which has the original floorboards and window openings so would readily make bedrooms.
There is a half acre of land with the barn and some outbuildings which housed milking parlour etc  .
The second barn is substantial and would also make a good sized two storey family dwelling or a massive garage with games room above
 
There is a handsome neighbouring farmhouse (french owned) and a cottage which was developed by a British family and I think still owned by them.
The countryside around is delightful with some attractive and interesting villages and towns nearby eg Mayenne 15 minutes away having all the facilities of a large county town and Jublain 10 minutes, with substantial Roman remains and museum. Le Mans is 35 miles and the coastal attractions: Mont Saint Michel, Dinard, Bayeux, Honfleur etc are all approx 70 miles. The ferry ports of Caen, Saint Malo and Le Havre are all within similar comfortable travelling distance. This area also gives easy access to the Loire.
