PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Charming 4 Bedroom detached house in Southern Brittany. 4000+ sq.m landscaped garden. Less than 5 mins drive to Rosporden, a market town with 4 supermarkets, good doctors facilities (ours speaks good English !) several pharmacies, three lakes, and very friendly inhabitants. Although the house is in the country, it is not isolated, and we have good neighbours. Bannalec is another small market town, again less than 5 minutes away, but in the opposite direction to Rosporden, with one supermarket. Schools available in both towns.
Quimper and Concarneau are both approx. 20 minutes by car, and Concarneau in particular is a bustling town and fishing port, with a Napoleonic fort in the centre of the harbour. Many bars and restaurants along the harbour front. Also easily accessible is the riverside town of Pont Aven (birthplace of Gauguin) which is well worth a visit, but tends to get a little crowded in the tourist season. The famous beaches of Brittany are also easily accessible.

The house itself has an entrance hall, leading to a cloakroom fitted with wc and wash hand basin. To the left is the lounge, and to the right one enters the kitchen which is fully fitted, complete with electric fan assisted oven, and 4 burner gas hob (gas by butane cylinder, which is stored in the laundry area.) Upstairs we have three bedrooms, two doubles and one single/twin, bathroom and wc, The bath has a shower over, and a seperate shower head for hair washing.
Back downstairs, exit the kitchen and we are in the laundry area, which is a substantial room, where you will find our plumbed in washing machine, and also our dish washer. The central heating boiler is situated to one side here also.
Upstairs you will find bedroom 4, which is used by us as an office, ideal for either visitors or for a teenager, as it also has a fitted wash hand basin. The dining room is through the laundry area, and has french doors to the patio area.

Outside, there is a gravelled parking area, sufficient for 6 - 8 cars, leading to the garden of 4000+ sq.m with shrubs and trees, but mainly laid to grass. There is a metal garden shed, where we keep our ride-on mower which will remain with the property, and also a wooden chalet workshop/storage. The garden is almost totally enclosed except for the bottom of the garden, which has a bank with trees. We have two dogs and neither has ever gone out of the garden.
Adjacent to our back door is our fuel store/storage area with metal tank for fuel oil, contains 1200 litres. Central heating throughout and also fully double glazed with upvc units.
