The house is in Roquessels, 34320, 15 min north west of Pezenas. A quiet and charming hillside hamlet that is Classe Historique, with a ruined chateau. The village has very impressive views over the vineyards and valley. No major roads are audible or visible from the house or village.

I estimate that the house was built in the 1700s, there are no houses opposite and the views from the property are outstanding. The property faces SE.

Built with stone walls 70-80cm thick, it would be cool in summer & warm in winter. Very large house, over 3 levels, which naturally divides into a 60m one bed apartment on the ground floor, and a 125m three bedroom house upstairs, with roof terrace (very rare in villages that are classe historique).
